Fairfax house

I was asked by the Fairfax family simply to warm up their house. They had spent a year away overseas and had come home to what felt like quite a cold house.

The initial brief was to do something with the five children’s bedrooms to make them cosier. The project escalated bit by bit and we ended working throughout the house to make it function better as a home for seven people.

We created a mud room near the entrance for all the children to have somewhere to put their school bags, their hats, their sports kit, their instruments. Each child has their own locker and place to house their things when they get home, freeing up the rest of the house from clutter.
